Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for surgery by verifying their identity, surgical site, and procedure. Monitor vital signs and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
- Assist the surgical team during operations by passing instruments, managing surgical supplies, and ensuring the sterile field is maintained at all times.
- Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operation flow, anticipate needs, and respond to any changes in the patient's condition during surgery.
- Provide immediate post-operative care, monitor patients in the recovery room, and educate patients and their families about post-surgery care, including wound care and potential complications.
- NE Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, Certified perioperative nurse (CNOR) certification is preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in operating room environment
- Pay: $2,126.38 - $2,192.14 / week
