Title: Driver – Oakland Manor Food Service
Reports to: Administrator
Position Summary:
Transportation of food, dishes and other items between facilities
Responsibilities and Duties:

For each meal:
- Assembles dishes and serving utensils needed for meal at prep facility and prepares for transport.
- Packages food, obtains temp and places food in insulated transport packs.
- Completes pre-departure quality check and inventory to assure all items needed for the menu and service are assembled for transport.
- Places food and service items in transport vehicle and secures all items.
- Transports food and service items to service facility using the fastest possible route according to navigation, following traffic laws and posted speeds.
- Removes food transport carrier, service items from vehicle and transports to service facility.
- Relocates vehicle to approved parking area.
- Obtains pre-service food temperature, and assists with meal service.
- Collects soiled dishes and services items and transports back to prep facility.
- Washes dishes and assists with meal prep.
- Communicates upon disruption of service. Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories. Report all vehicle repairs, and / or any unsafe or hazardous situations immediately to your supervisor. Be flexible and available for special occasions, and special schedules.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Current State of Michigan Driver’s License
Must be able to lift and carry 25#
