About the Role:
This position is a MIDNIGHT SHIFT / FULL TIME (7p-7a)
Orientation will be on the Day Shift the first week (7a-3p/ 7a-7p)
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Pine Creek Manor, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a supportive and compassionate environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the daily care of residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to established healthcare protocols. You will collaborate closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. This position requires a strong commitment to patient advocacy and the ability to communicate effectively with both residents and their families. Minimum Qualifications:
- Current LPN license in the state of PSV.
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
- Certification in IV therapy.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and health status.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and report any changes in residents' conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
