Temperature Mapping Specialist (8-Month Contract) ONSITE IN ICELAND

Position Summary
Pioneer GMP Consulting is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Temperature Mapping Specialist to support controlled environment qualification activities in Iceland. This role is responsible for executing temperature mapping studies across facilities, warehouses, cold storage units, and transport systems to ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. The position will involve hands-on equipment setup, data collection, analysis, and reporting to meet regulatory expectations and client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and document temperature mapping studies for warehouses, storage areas, and transport routes.
Deploy and calibrate data loggers and temperature monitoring equipment.
Analyze temperature and humidity data to identify excursions, trends, and risks.
Prepare comprehensive reports in alignment with GMP/GDP and client-specific requirements.
Collaborate with client quality, engineering, and validation teams to ensure study design aligns with regulatory standards.
Support remediation activities and recommend improvements to environmental controls where necessary.
Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with global health authority regulations and site procedures.
Requirements
2 years of experience in temperature mapping, validation, or environmental monitoring within pharmaceutical/biotech or regulated industries.
Familiarity with GMP/GDP guidelines and regulatory expectations (EU and FDA).
Proficiency in use of data logging software and temperature mapping equipment.
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and remote project setting.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience executing temperature mapping in warehouses, cold storage, or transportation systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple studies concurrently.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting global projects or working internationally in GMP-regulated environments.
Prior experience with EU Annex 15/ICH Q10 compliance for qualification and validation.
Familiarity with statistical tools for data analysis.
Ability to adapt to extended assignments abroad and collaborate cross-culturally.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
