Communications Coordinator

The Communications function is how Pioneer shows up to the world — and how the right operators, founders, and investors find their way to us. As such, we are now hiring a Communications Coordinator to sit at the center of how we build and protect the Pioneer brand — and to bring real rigor to every stage of how the firm communicates.

As an emerging firm, there may be times where this role is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks.

The Role

This is a high-autonomy, high-accountability role within the Communications function reporting to firm leadership. You will play an integral role in how Pioneer:

• Is discovered by operators, founders, and prospective partners
• Is understood — who we are, what we invest in, and why we're different
• Converts interest into real conversations and qualified pipeline
• Stays visible, credible, and top-of-mind over time
• Stays organized and opportunistic as the team and firm grow

What You Will Be Responsible For

You will support outcomes in three areas:

Inbound and Growth

• Pioneer's inbound presence — LinkedIn, social, web, and any channel that brings the right audience to us
• Content generation without direction — you decide what we say, write it, and ship it
• Growing the audience that matters: founders, operators, intermediaries, and co-investors
• Converting interest into qualified conversations and real relationships
• Referral and organic growth loops that compound over time

Communications and Content

• End-to-end campaign ownership — from idea through brief, asset creation, launch, measurement, and iteration
• Clear and authentic articulation of what Pioneer is and is not
• External messaging that builds credibility with senior operators and investors
• Design and creative execution in Canva, email tools, or similar — visual quality stays high without slowing the team down
• Represent Pioneer Equity Partners professionally with senior-level executives, founders, and intermediaries — building trust quickly and handling sensitive information with discretion

AI and Systems

• Bring AI fluency to the workflow — use AI tools to accelerate research, drafting, content creation, summarization, and operational tasks
• Continually look for ways to integrate AI into how the Communications function operates
• Build repeatable processes that minimize manual effort, eliminate unnecessary work, and drive optimal outcomes
• Own scheduling and administrative coordination tied to external touchpoints — meetings, travel, follow-ups — and build the systems that make all of it run cleanly

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably with a Business or Communications concentration
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Accept a comprehensive background check
• Working in an onsite setting
• Bringing a great attitude everyday and being additive to the Pioneer culture
