Assistant Practice Manager Position Opening at Pioneer Equine Hospital
Pioneer Equine Hospital, located in Oakdale, California is looking for an individual to support the Hospital Manager and Managing Veterinarian in the business management of our busy full service equine hospital.

About the Position:
Responsibilities are varied and will include, but are not limited to:
Manage the employee benefits programs and practice insurance plans
Process payroll for all employees
Maintain employee files and human resource compliance materials
Monitor the hospital schedule to maximize efficiency and client satisfaction
Monitor content and quality of patient records to ensure compliance with hospital policy
Support the Hospital Manager and Managing DVM during the budget process
Process and monitor accounts payable
Complete daily accounting reconciliations
Manage Pioneer’s marketing efforts including social media, community outreach, events and other projects
Qualifications:
Experience in a veterinary practice in positions of increased responsibility is necessary
3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role, including customer service experience
Reporting and data analysis skills
Knowledge in Human Resource policies
Basic accounting knowledge
Basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office suite and veterinary practice management software)
Bachelor’s degree in business or related degree is preferred
The position has the opportunity for growth for the right individual. Knowledge of horses and experience working with horse owners is preferred but not required.
Schedule is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Compensation range: $67,000 - $69,000 annual salary
