We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. Pioneer Delivery Inc., an independent FedEx Ground contractor, is seeking a motivated individual to add to our team as a FedEx Delivery Driver. We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a truck for deliveries and pickups.
- Load and unload goods efficiently, ensuring proper handling of items.
- Follow designated routes and schedules for timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including invoices and receipts.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients during deliveries.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during driving.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus for understanding logistics operations.
- Familiarity with operating box trucks and other delivery vehicles.
- Previous delivery driver experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of goods as required.
