Job Title: Okta SME (FedRAMP)We are seeking an experienced Okta SME(FedRAMP & OAuth 2.0) with strong expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), cloud-native development, and secure enterprise integrations.
The role focuses on designing and implementing scalable IAM solutions using Okta in highly secure environments, including FedRAMP-compliant systems.
The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, work closely with client and application teams, and deliver secure, high-quality IAM and API-based solutions in Agile environments.
Requirement: Must currently hold or be eligible to obtain an active Top Secret security clearance.
Key Responsibilities: Lead IAM architecture, design, and implementation using Okta (FedRAMP environments preferred)Manage application onboarding into Okta, including authentication and authorization flows.
Collaborate with client and engineering teams to define integration requirements.
Design and develop RESTful APIs using Python or Java.
Troubleshoot complex IAM, API, and cloud integration issues.
Ensure compliance with security standards in FedRAMP environments.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery Support CI/CD pipeline automation and DevOps practices.
Required Skills & Experience 12 years of experience in application development, architecture, and support.
Strong hands-on experience with Okta IAM, preferably in FedRAMP environments.
Strong understanding of IAM concepts, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC)Experience onboarding applications into Okta and managing integrations.
Strong experience in RESTful API development (Python or Java)Solid understanding of HTTP/HTTPS and REST principles.
Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable)Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
Experience with design patterns and software architecture principles.
Understanding of thread pool/concurrency concepts.
Experience using API testing tools such as Postman.
Exposure to React or Angular frontend applications.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
