About the Opportunity:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for AR, AP processing, data entry and invoicing. The position also reviews and verifies AR information, resolves any discrepancies and performs other tasks to ensure that payments are collected in a timely manner.

About the Opportunity:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for AR, AP processing, data entry and invoicing. The position also reviews and verifies AR information, resolves any discrepancies and performs other tasks to ensure that payments are collected in a timely manner.
What You'll Do:
- Payment processing, AR account analysis and payment processing
- Calculates monthly sales commissions and posts general entries
- Generate and issue customer invoices
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on past due accounts
- Resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
- Conducts expense variance analysis and provides cost savings advice to management
- Assists in timely and accurate month end and year end closing
- Projects monthly financial statements and other required reports under strict deadlines
- Performs other duties as needed
- Ability to excel in fast paced environment
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational, time management and follow-up skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Team player and collaboration skills
- Use of AI and programming (Python, C )
- Recent BA or BS in Accounting or business understanding of accounting
- Experience with ERP systems preferred (Sage 100 a plus)
- Monday through Friday
- 1st Shift: 7:30am to 4:00pm
- Overtime as required
