About the OpportunityThe Inner Layer Etch Assistant assists the Cupric Etch/DES Operator by catching layers after they have been processed through the Cupric Etch/DES Machine and ensures that all panels are processed in accordance with specific guidance based upon the direction of the Team Leader, the information provided by the Traveler and Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P).What You'll Do:Catches layers after being processed from the Cupric Etch or DES MachinePrepares layers for processing by taping and framing themEnsures and maintains all quality standards by visually inspecting 100% of the layers and looking for any inconsistencies as noted in the Standard Operating ProceduresProperly completes the Process Analysis logs and Production logs are the sole responsibility of the operatorsCommunicates with Team Leader and/or Manufacturing Manager of any problems encountered which may prevent the completion of a manufacturing processEngages in general maintenance and setup of equipment essential to job functionPerforms duties of other essential job classifications as directed by the Team Leader or Manufacturing ManagerMonitors and recommends any necessary process and quality improvementsMaintains a clean, organized, and safe work areaEnsures that the general and department safety procedures and followed at all timesWhat You'll Bring:Ability to read and interpret documents such as standard operating procedure, instructions and safety rules in English to the degree necessary to perform the jobAbility to work in chemical environmentsAbility to understand and follow all safety codes and requirementsAbility to be detailed oriented and self-motivatedAbility to remain focused with minor interruptionsExcellent attendance and punctualityAbility to work overtime as neededEducation and Experience:High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferredPlease note that in addition to frequent standing and walking, the work environment requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 20 pounds, as well as repetitive hand motion and outward reaching.
