The Therapist is responsible for providing center-based in-person or virtual therapy services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. These therapy services may include: individual, group, or family therapy; mental health assessment; treatment planning and monitoring; resource and referral; support, linkage, and advocacy; case collaboration with other providers at Pioneer Center or other community organizations.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree Required.  (Field of Study: Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology).   Completion or current enrollment in a Master’s program - Required.  

Experience:

Computer Skills:

Electronic Health Record, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams, Telehealth, Virtual Meetings and Presentations 

Other Requirements:

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Ability to use Phone, Fax, Copier, and file required.

Work is performed in a variety of settings, including office environments, community locations, behavioral health residential group homes, and IDD program sites to meet with clients and families. The work environment may vary and can include differing levels of cleanliness, noise, and activity.
