Pioneer Ambulance is currently recruiting a full-time EMT to join our rural EMS team based in Baker City, Oregon.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-time, In-Person
- Shift Type: 48/96
- Location: Baker City, Oregon
- Pay Range: $15.55 per hour
Pioneer Ambulance is the 911 emergency ambulance service provider for the Baker and Huntington Ambulance Service Areas, covering more than 2,400 square miles across Baker County. This position offers the opportunity to practice full-scope paramedicine in a rural environment with a high level of autonomy, diverse call types, and strong community support.

Minimum Requirements
- Current Oregon EMT License
- Current BLS HCP Level CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum of 21 years in age
- Applicants must meet Pioneer Ambulance’s motor vehicle record, National/Federal and criminal background check, drug & alcohol screening, and physical requirement standards. Pioneer Ambulance is a drug free work place.
