Job Summary
Piola Doral is looking for a reliable, organized, and passionate Pasta Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in preparing high-quality Italian dishes, and works well as part of a team. Previous experience with pasta stations is preferred but not required—we are happy to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pasta dishes according to Piola recipes and quality standards.
- Set up and stock the pasta station before each shift.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared accurately, consistently, and in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation throughout the shift.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with prep work and other kitchen duties as needed.
- Properly store ingredients and rotate inventory using FIFO procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook or pasta cook is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume restaurant.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
