Position Summary:
Our Kitchen Line/Prep Cooks play a vital role in our culinary operations. You’ll use your culinary skills and attention to detail to ensure the highest standard of food quality, contributing directly to the satisfaction of our clients and guests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with stocking and setting up kitchen stations to ensure a smooth operation
Prepare food by cleaning, cutting, and portioning ingredients for service
Help cook and prepare main dishes, appetizers, desserts, and snacks
Collaborate with servers and the kitchen team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, equipment, and work areas at the end of shifts
Ensure kitchen operations and hygiene adhere to food safety standards and regulations
Participate in the preparation and service of food at private events, as assigned by the leadership team
Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on event needs
Perform other duties as assigned by management to maintain kitchen efficiency and quality
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
1 year of hospitality or culinary experience (preferred)
Valid Food Handler’s Certification (must be obtained within the first week of employment)
Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends
Strong communication skills, with the ability to take direction and work collaboratively with a team
A passion for food and a strong attention to detail
