Duties
- Assess patients’ physical abilities through evaluations and develop treatment plans.
- Implement physical therapy interventions including exercises, manual therapy, and equipment-based activities.
- Monitor and document patients’ progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
- Ensure compliance with Montana state regulations and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- Valid licensure as a licensed Physical Therapist in Montana (or eligibility for licensure).
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of FLSA exempt status guidelines for healthcare professionals.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and manual dexterity.
- Ability to assist patients with mobility and various exercises.
