- Uses Wabtec's RailConnect system daily to track, trace and monitor I/B and O/B interchanges.
- Works with customers to ensure cars are released and billed after loading/unloading
- Ensure Automation for I/B and O/B storage charges as well correct storage status
- Monitors I/B waybills to confirm established blocking rules apply and/or create blocking rules as necessary
- Monitor car movement history on traffic to ensure car hire is not erroneously charged
- Liaison between foreign carrier's customer service, Pinsly customers and independent 3PL companies
- Work with Operations team to manage/correct status of online equipment
- Assists in entering B/O information to ensure proper car record for defective equipment
- Creates new customer profiles, set up accounts and train customers in RVP
- Creates and maintains master files in RailConnect
- Creates billable charges for customers failing to enter car movement information in RVP
- Schedule pipeline information reports for customers and Operations
- Fuel Surcharge calculation and entry to RailConnect
- Car Hire support
- Support additional projects as assigned
- Proficiency with Wabtec suite of products.
- Extensive knowledge of railroad equipment types, car marks and equipment classifications.
- Knowledge of various databases such as RailInc and Class 1 websites
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Self-starter
- Proficient with Microsoft suite of products
- Collaboration with cross functional teams
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of the North American rail system
- Familiar with Industry Rules and Regulations
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind.
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
