Pedone Pinsa is seeking a Scaling & Balling Associate to support our growing production team. This hands-on manufacturing role is critical to producing consistent, high-quality Pinsa crusts while maintaining food safety and production efficiency.
As a Scaling & Balling Associate, you will measure, portion, and shape dough to defined specifications, ensuring smooth production flow and adherence to quality and safety standards. This role is well-suited for individuals who enjoy physical work, value precision, and thrive in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will…
- Form scaled dough into uniform balls, ensuring consistency in size, weight, and shape
- Deliver product to the next production stage on time to maintain workflow
- Inspect product quality and report issues through established channels
- Monitor dough consistency and make minor adjustments within guidelines
- Comply with all food safety and quality programs, including HACCP, SQF, and GMP
- Assist with monitoring and basic upkeep of production equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace
- Store and handle ingredients properly to preserve quality and freshness
- Communicate production concerns, errors, and improvement ideas promptly
Success factors…
- High School Diploma or equivalent; food manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product consistency and quality
- Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing production needs
- Familiarity with food safety principles (HACCP, GMP, SQF preferred)
- Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
- High level of personal accountability, including attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow detailed recipes, procedures, and instructions

Physical requirements...
