Responsibilities
- Operate various fabrication equipment, including cutting, welding, grinding, and assembly machinery, to shape and assemble metal parts
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform precise modifications and adjustments on metal components
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication processes
- Assist with the setup and calibration of machinery to maintain optimal production flow
- Support the assembly line by preparing fabricated parts for final assembly or further processing
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety standards at all times
- Conduct quality inspections on fabricated parts to verify dimensions, finishes, and overall compliance with specifications
- Collaborate with team members in a warehouse or factory setting to meet production deadlines efficiently
Requirements
- Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience working with metal fabrication or related processes
- Mechanical knowledge of fabrication equipment, hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques
- Experience working on an assembly line or in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts (certification preferred) for material handling within the warehouse or factory floor
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to industrial machinery and metalworking operations
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and inventory management is a plus
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure high-quality output
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials safely, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
