As a Bus Monitor, you will have the chance to play an integral role in the educational experience of our students. - Assist the bus driver in maintaining a safe and orderly bus environment.
- Monitor the behavior of students and report any incidents to the appropriate authorities.
- Ensure that students are following all safety regulations and procedures.
- Maintain accurate attendance records for each student.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary.
- Communicate with parents and school administrators about any issues that arise during transportation.
- Keep the interior of the bus clean and free from clutter.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with children of all ages.
- Knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures.
- Ability to stand, sit, and move around the bus for an extended period of time.
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in stressful situations.
- Must be able to pass a background check and physical test.
