The award-winning Beer Garden To Go was added in 2009 and offers over 1,000 varieties of craft beer as well as domestic imports.
Pinocchio's Restaurant in Media, PA is looking for a part-time experienced grill cook/line cook to join the team. **Available hours: Nights and weekends, Sunday is a must
Requirements and Qualifications for grill cook/line cook:
- Cooking experience including 3 years experience as a grill line cook or line chef
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy in executing tasks
- Understanding of cooking methods and equipment
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Physical endurance to stand for entire shift
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks
- High school degree or equivalent
- Able to work nights and weekends
Responsibilities and Duties for the grill cook/line cook:
- Set up, clean, organize and stock stations with all necessary food and supplies
- Prepare food and ingredients for lunch and dinner service
- Prepare utensils, grill and oven
- Cook menu items according to recipes
- Answer, report and follow manager's instructions
- Clean up station and store all leftover food properly
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a quick, timely fashion
- Comply with food health and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Recommend ideas for specials
- Handle multiple orders at once
- Ensure each order has correct food and sides
- Assist other team members
- Sanitize and clean work stations and utensils
