What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Engineer position at Pinnatec?
Pinnatec is looking for a part-time Systems Engineer to support a wide range of engineering work across software, hardware, controls, and product development.
We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in systems engineering, electrical engineering, and practical AI tool usage, but who also brings serious software engineering capability. This role is ideal for a highly adaptable, hands-on engineer who can move between disciplines, learn quickly, solve real technical problems, and contribute wherever needed.
This is not a narrowly defined role. The right person should be comfortable working across software, hardware, firmware-adjacent systems, controls, prototyping, debugging, automation, and internal tool development. We value people who are versatile, resourceful, and excited to build across the stack.
This position will begin as a part-time role (approximately 10–20 hours per week), with the potential to transition into a full-time position after an initial trial period if there is a strong mutual fit.
