Admissions Coordinator

As an Admissions Coordinator at our Martinsville, Indiana location, you will play a key role in supporting patient access to care. This position is responsible for coordinating admissions and discharges, verifying benefits, and supporting intake and referral processes to ensure a smooth and compassionate experience for patients and families entering treatment.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college or university preferred (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
- Three (3) to five (5) years of intake or admissions experience preferred, ideally in behavioral healthcare
- Proven experience developing and maintaining referral relationships and networking strategies
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- COVID‑19 vaccination or approved exemption, per policy
Responsibilities
- Coordinate admissions and discharges for patients
- Verify insurance benefits and eligibility
- Assist with utilization review by supporting billing coordination with the corporate office
- Coordinate and collect co‑pays, deductibles, and other patient fees at admission, during treatment, or at discharge
- Assist with arranging patient payment plans as needed
- Serve as a liaison to patients regarding insurance benefits and coverage
- Schedule and complete admission assessments and required documentation
- Support performance improvement initiatives aligned with organizational goals
- Perform other duties as assigned
