How You Contribute to Pinnacle Transplant’s Success

The Logistics Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe warehouse by assisting with shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, inventory control, equipment handling, etc. This position is a highly regulated work environment whereas processes are completed through regulated work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.

Work hours: Monday – Friday; 7:30 am – 4:30 pm OR 8:00 am - 5:00 pm 

Work environment: Warehouse environment, with some interaction with manufacturing/office environments

Location: North Phoenix, near 19th Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road

Pay Rate: $23.50/hour (various levels/pay can be considered if experience is closely aligned to our environment 

What You Will Do

Level 2 Logistics – Consistently demonstrates proficiency to company standards in additional tasks.

• Support / maintain 5S practices and standards.
• Actively participate in teamwork, collaboration, and respectful interactions.
• Learn and apply some Lean principles to improve Logistics operations.
• Competence in all applicable shipping software transactions.
• Receive OSHA certification for equipment operations and maintain all safety procedures.
• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
• Receive and stock all non-tissue supplies and materials compliant with PTT QMS and at expected output rates.
• Complete all supplies order fulfillment tasks supporting tissue processing compliant with PTT QMS and at expected output rates.
• Accurately conduct cycle counts as assigned for non-tissue inventory.
• Accurately stock finished goods into the approved goods room appropriately.
• Ensure all staff and contractors comply with applicable OSHA, ISO 13485, FDA, cGMP, HIPPA, AATB, and PTT Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
• Receive materials in the appropriate program (i.e., QAD/ERP).
• Effectively train, mentor, and coach all Level 1 Logistics Warehouse staff.
• Other duties as assigned. 

What Qualifications You Will Bring

• High School graduate or GED, plus a minimum of 1-2 years’ work experience in order picking, order entry/fulfillment is required.
• Familiarity with and experience working under FDA regulatory compliance, HIPAA, cGMP, and cGTP requirements is preferred.
• STRONG PREFERENCE will be given to those whose background includes prior regulated warehouse experience (strict SOP/Work Instruction following, quarantine regulated supplies, performing quality control checks, etc.), understanding of regulated and controlled supplies and regulations that follow, prior use of good documentation practices (GDP) and cGTP (Current Good Tissue Practices”, FDA regulations.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking ability.
• Computer skills required to ensure inventory/supplies are accurately received and managed through an ERP system 

Who You Will Partner With

• Daily face to face, written, and verbal communication with Customer Service, Operations, Production teams, leadership, shipping vendors, etc. to ensure all duties are executed properly, timely and according to policies and procedures.
• Regular communication, both telephone and email, with customers to resolve any issues and aid in building good relationships.

Where You Will Work

• Full Time position (40 hours or more) based in Arizona.  Hours may include evenings and weekends to perform tasks outlined in the job description.
• Work requires bending, reaching, climbing ladders, and lifting items weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Your work is physical in nature. Duties are such that there will be contact with human tissue and bone which may be considered infectious; use of PPE is required in all work areas.
• Use of warehouse equipment, not limited to, pallet jack and straddle stacker is required. OSHA certification is required for use of equipment.
• Position requires steel toe/composite toe boots to be worn at all times.
