What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wellness Director position at Pinnacle Training Systems?
Position Responsibilities Include:
- Proactive approach to ensure the health and wellness of the 700 employees by identifying and addressing the health risk factors associated with first responders
- Administer the wellness program that includes
- Annual physical fitness and wellness evaluationsComprehensive fitness testing
o Weight and body fat measurements
o Complete blood analysis
o Strength and conditioning assessments
o Resting and stress EKG’s
o One on one consultations
o Create Fitness plans
o Coordinate or teach on health and wellness related topics
o Create and promote incentive programs
o Track and document outcomes
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a BS or BA degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Sport Medicine, Athletic Training or related field
- Certified EKG Technician preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in the health and fitness industry with fitness testing experience, CPR and First Aid certifications mandatory
- Additional fitness or health coaching certifications highly preferred (ACSM, NSCA, NASM, etc)
- Strong health & fitness knowledge and excellent computer skills a must
- Self starter with the ability to work independently
- Willingness and Ability to pass a thorough background check
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
