Duration: 5 months (Contract)

Job Description:

The Patient Services Representative II is responsible for drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and providing a professional, safe, and positive experience for patients. The role includes patient interaction, explaining procedures, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring confidentiality. PSR II staff may work in doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other assigned locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and collect forensic/clinical specimens accurately
• Verify patient information and ensure proper labeling
• Maintain documentation and a safe, professional environment
• Handle high-volume workloads and multiple priorities
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively

Requirements:

• High school diploma (required); phlebotomy certification preferred
• 3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric
• Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments
• Flexible schedule (weekends, holidays, travel as needed)
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
