Description:
We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist II to join our team in Martinsburg, WV. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about patient care and quality lab services. You will be responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens, preparing samples for laboratory testing, and ensuring patient comfort and confidence during procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections following established protocols
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
• Prepare and process specimens for lab testing
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent (medical assistant/paramedic training preferred)
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA)
• 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric patients
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if applicable)
