Job Title: Quality Inspector 2
Job Type: 6 Months Contract (possibility of extension)
Pay Rate: $ $25 - $26 Hr. on W2 without benefits
Job Location: Simi Valley California 93063
Shift: M – F | 5:00am – 1:30pm
Qualifications:
Years of Experience (Required): 2 – 5 years
Must Haves: mechanical and technical skills and strong attention to detail
Nice To Haves: Experience with Net-Inspect/FAIR, Electronic inspection skills, Team player
Quality Inspector II Inspects a range of components, parts and/or products for the area assigned as prescribed by all applicable specifications and quality assurance Instructions. Identifies moderately difficult quality issues in design, process or other inefficiencies to meet quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
· Conducts examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials and components at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards
· Participates in analysis statistical data from processes to either confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations from standards
· Performs routine visual inspection of soldered connections, mechanical inspections of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
· Participates in preparing all necessary documentation for reporting acceptance/rejection of inspected and/or tested items.
· Implements and maintains technical quality assurance procedures.
· Prepares and completes all necessary documentation for reporting acceptance/rejection of inspected and/or tested items
· Identifies design, process or other inefficiencies and reports quality concerns and issues
· Performs routine quality inspections on engineering designs, assemblies, piece parts, final assemblies and tooling.
· Conducts Internal audits and corrective action follow ups
· Inspecting wires, sensors such as force sensors, pressure sensors, etc. using ring gauges, calipers, torque ranges, micrometers, and other tools
· Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required.
· Other responsibilities as assigned.
· May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
Qualifications:
· Ability to follow detailed job instructions.
· Able to apply a systematic Quality Assurance approach while using existing procedures to solve standard problems.
· Skilled at measuring and using test equipment as prescribed by job assignment.
· Capable of identifying and independently resolving routine issues.
· Experience with blueprints, drawings and parts lists.
· Familiar with the casting, forging, molding, stainless-steel and electronic components use in Aerospace industry.
· Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, as well as Aero Space Standards like AS9100 use on aviation, space and defense organizations.
· Experience with all type of inspection tools like: Gauges, calipers, height gages, pin and block gages, V-blocks surface inspection tables, micrometers, and comparators
· Experience in performing internal audits based on established criteria and records the results.
· Experience with interpreting engineering drawings using the language of Geometrical
· Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
· Effective oral and written communication.
Education & Experience:
Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
