We are hiring a Front Desk Associate to join our Guest House team at client location. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in hospitality or customer service who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests with check-in/check-out and reservation procedures.
- Manage high-volume phone lines and emails; relay messages and coordinate guest services.
- Assist with concierge tasks: arrange transportation, handle guest packages and valuables, and provide area information.
- Perform porter duties: assist with luggage, room escort, and deliver mail/packages.
- Drive shuttle van within the Stanford campus.
- Monitor building access, report maintenance issues, and coordinate with housekeeping.
- Handle billing, review transactions, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in hospitality or fast-paced customer service.
- Accurate cash handling experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable with physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
