Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining complex utilities and process equipment. This role follows standard procedures, operational requirements, and safety policies. The technician will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility and mechanical components while ensuring optimal utilization of company facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance services and repairs on assigned equipment.
- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, replace, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment such as air compressors, air dryers, dehumidifiers, cooling towers, CNC machines, injection molders, presses, and oil heaters.
- Follow detailed operational instructions, work orders, and setup procedures accurately.
- Utilize the eMaint preventive maintenance system to complete work orders and provide required data logging for parts usage, equipment downtime, and hours worked.
- Maintain a safe, efficient work environment and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Provide support to the Facilities team as needed.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. May be required to work nights, weekends, varied schedules, and additional hours as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Preferred: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting up to 480V
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Basic computer skills; experience with CMMS software (eMaint)
- CNC and injection molding experience (preferred but not required)
- Basic PLC troubleshooting using Allen Bradley and Watlow controllers with SpecView
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
