Job Title: Electronic Technician
Location: Oro Valley Arizona USA 85755
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Shift: 1st Shift
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electronic equipment, including service technician tasks.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized testing devices such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting.
- Conduct equipment repairs, replacements, and adjustments to ensure proper operation.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and network connections related to electronic systems.
- Assist with field service operations at client sites, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to support equipment assembly, calibration, and preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot low voltage electrical systems safely following industry standards.
- Document service activities accurately and communicate findings effectively to team members.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or electronics technician in a field service environment.
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting electronic systems.
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and networking fundamentals.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams confidently.
- Experience working with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and multimeters (including ohmmeters).
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to electronics equipment assembly or repair is preferred.
