Position Summary
Seeking reliable and motivated individuals for routine assembly, testing, lock wiring, and final product detailing in a production environment. This role involves using mechanical skills, hand/power tools, measurement equipment, and test instruments while working as part of a team under direct guidance.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform hand deburring as required
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated per the calibration schedule
- Produce and inspect assemblies to ensure full compliance with specifications
- Troubleshoot and rework issues identified through test data
- Record test results accurately on data forms
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, and quality directives
- Follow all safety rules and maintain a FOD-free work area
- Operate automatic weld machines as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months of assembly/test experience or demonstrated ability to perform required tasks
- Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Working knowledge of basic machine shop math
- Effective English communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay: $19.00 - $22.10 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
