Donor Records Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Donor Records Specialist Temp will help facilitate accurate list pulls and donor outreach for the Leadership & Legacy team portfolio of donors, by ensuring accurate, updated, and appropriately placed donor information within their Blackbaud NXT/Raisers Edge constituent records. The role will primarily focus on donor database cleanup, constituent record enhancement, and ensure data integrity. This temporary role will report directly to Vice President, Leadership & Legacy, and will receive training and support from the L&L team and Development Operations team.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Review, update, and enhance approximately 250 constituent records in Blackbaud NXT to improve data quality, mailing list accuracy, and donor engagement.

· Per L&L team guidelines, identify, record and track any missing, inconsistent, duplicate, or outdated information found during NXT constituent record review.

· Advance any findings to gift officers, donor researcher, development operations or other staff and coordinate with them decisions and next steps.

· Assist staff in analyzing and interpreting findings and help develop recommendations and determine course of action to ensure record accuracy and best practice which can include constituent record changes/updates in NXT.

· Document decisions, risks, and changes to constituent records.

· Document progress for periodic and final reviews and approvals.

· Adhere to Project HOPE guidelines, policies, procedures, best practices.

· Work in a collaborative and professional manner in all interactions.

· Maintain donor confidentiality.

· Other duties as assigned.

Deliverables:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Highly organized, professional, and self-motivated, available to work both independently and collaboratively.

· Experience with donor/member data entry and maintenance within widely used CRM like Blackbaud NXT, Salesforce, etc.

· Experience working in a nonprofit environment.

· High level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Demonstrated experience adhering to confidentiality with sensitive information

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Experience using Blackbaud NXT Raisers Edge
