ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Outgoing Shipments
- Monitor pending “Pick” batch in Workflow, forward orders to “Ready to Pick”.
- Work with Customer Service to process cancelled orders.
- Un-fulfill picked orders and ensure that product is returned to the appropriate bin after cancellation.
- Notify Customer Service of any orders that did not ship as scheduled to include customer pickups.
- Contact carriers when CS needs addresses changed.
- Incoming Shipments
- Scans and attach packing slips. Escalates shortages, damages, etc. to Purchasing.
- Work with suppliers on damaged products.
- Inventory Management
- Missing Items – conduct basic research before escalating requests to purchasing.
- Verify that all other bin locations and serial numbers are correct.
- Run weekly report of product in Docks 1-3, distribute to warehouse supervisor and lead.
- Ensures that all items are bin transferred in a timely manner.
- Create and assist with cycle counts
- Ensure that items pending return to vendor are picked up in a timely manner.
- Follow up until they have been picked up.
- General Duties
- Monitor Teams Channels and email for warehouse team.
- Complete and/or assign and prioritize requests for inventory stock checks and serial number verifications.
- Submit and process freight claims.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
- High school diploma required.
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable.
- Must be able to prioritize workload in an organized fashion.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to interact with employees, and vendors in a professional manner.
- Ability to perform math such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division quickly and accurately.
- Ability to work independently with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Teams, Outlook, and Excel is a plus.
