Role Summary

The General Manager will serve as the market leader for Pinnacle Roofing’s new Cincinnati office. This role starts as a hands-on operator responsible for generating and selling work, coordinating production, supervising jobsites, building referral relationships, and creating local momentum. As the office grows, the General Manager is expected to build the team and transition from personally carrying every function to leading the people and systems that do.

Position Scope

· Act as the primary market leader for a new Pinnacle Roofing branch in Cincinnati.

· Personally drive early-stage revenue generation while also ensuring jobs are executed well in the field.

· Establish the office’s local reputation through customer experience, referral partner relationships, and consistent market presence.

· Build a repeatable operating rhythm that can scale into a staffed office as lead flow and sold volume increase.

· Maintain excellent communication with home office department leaders, including President/GMs, production manager, CSR.

Core Responsibilities

1. Sales Leadership and Revenue Generation

· Serve as the primary salesperson for the Cincinnati office during the launch and early growth stages.

· Learn and ultimately master the ‘Radnor Way’ sales process, in order to be effective on sales appointments during the launch and early growth stages of the

· Run appointments, perform inspections, deliver estimates, and close residential and/or light commercial roofing opportunities as assigned.

· Follow up quickly and consistently with inbound leads, self-generated opportunities, and referral-driven opportunities.

· Maintain strong selling discipline, including proper inspection documentation, clear scope communication, and accurate proposal presentation.

· Own the customer relationship from first contact through signed agreement, while ensuring a smooth handoff into production.

2. Production Coordination and Jobsite Supervision

· Coordinate with home office Production Manager around scheduling, materials, labor, and job readiness for sold projects.

· Provide direct field oversight on jobsites, especially in the office’s early stages before additional production staff are hired.

· Ensure jobs are executed safely, professionally, on time, and within expected gross margin parameters.

· Identify issues early, communicate clearly with customers and crews, and resolve production problems quickly.

· Protect customer experience throughout the install cycle, including punch items, clean-up, and closeout.

3. Ground Game and Local Market Development

· Develop and maintain referral relationships with realtors, property managers, insurance agents, adjusters, builders, and other local partners.

· Create consistent “ground game” activity in the market, including referral touch points, networking, community visibility, lunch and learns, and potential canvassing efforts.

· Support or personally participate in door knocking, storm follow-up, neighborhood prospecting, and inspection generation where appropriate.

· Build market awareness for Pinnacle Roofing through professionalism, responsiveness, and visible local engagement.

4. Team Building and Office Development

· Help define when dedicated sales, production, and support roles should be added as the office grows.

· Recruit, train, and develop future team members to gradually fill functions initially carried by the General Manager.

· Establish expectations, accountability, and performance standards for the Cincinnati office culture.

· Transition from a player-coach role to a true branch leader as lead flow, sold jobs, and staffing mature.

5. Operational Discipline and Reporting

· Maintain accurate CRM / operating system updates, pipeline tracking, job status visibility, and follow-up cadence.

· Monitor key business metrics and make adjustments quickly based on results.

· Work closely with company leadership on forecasting, staffing needs, production capacity, and market strategy.

· Represent Pinnacle Roofing with professionalism and alignment to company standards, values, and customer commitments.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
