About the Role
Pinnacle Private Credit is looking for a sharp, curious, and proactive AI QA Testing Intern to help test, evaluate, and improve our AI tools on a daily basis. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with quality assurance workflows, testing frameworks, and real-world AI product development. You will work closely with our Product Lead and Engineers to identify issues, run test cases, break things on purpose, and help ensure a polished, reliable user experience.
This role is perfect for a student or early-career professional who wants to develop technical skills while learning how AI products are tested, trained, and improved in a fast-moving environment.
What You’ll Do
- Run manual tests on AI features, tools, and workflows to identify bugs, edge cases, and usability issues
- Document patterns, test results, and reproducible steps in a clear, structured format
- Evaluate model outputs for accuracy, reliability, bias, and alignment with expected behaviors
- Assist in creating test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on product requirements
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes
- Help monitor product performance and user-reported issues
- Suggest improvements to UX, logic flows, and model behavior based on testing findings
- Support light data labeling and annotation tasks for model improvement (as needed)
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and a natural curiosity to understand how things work
- Ability to think critically and break down problems from multiple angles
- Comfort with documenting processes and explaining findings clearly
- Basic familiarity with AI tools, software platforms, or testing workflows (a plus, not required)
- Interest in product development, QA, data analysis, or machine learning

- A desire to learn and grow in a high-velocity environment
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to Python, SQL, or prompt engineering
- Experience with bug-tracking tools (Jira, Linear, Asana, etc.)
- Understanding of QA concepts such as regression, UAT, and exploratory testing
- Previous internship or project experience in tech, data, or QA
