As a Day Shift Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will:
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents during the day shift
- Administer medications, treatments, and physician orders accurately
- Assess, monitor, and document changes in resident condition
- Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies
- Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and delegate nursing tasks appropriately
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and required documentation
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures
- Promote resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
- Perform additional nursing duties as assigned
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
- Current, active Missouri RN or LPN nursing license in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, post-acute care, or senior living is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the nursing team
- Passion for providing exceptional resident care
