Appt Scheduler - Part Time

Description

 Schedule patient appointments accurately and effectively. 

Regular Job Functions

· Answers appointment scheduling line and schedules patient appointments in a timely manner per established protocols.

· Ensures accuracy of data input at time of scheduling.

· Coordinates appointments with tech and physician as necessary.

· Responds to patient questions and needs by editing, canceling, and rescheduling appointments as necessary.

· Maintains a working knowledge of Medicare, commercial insurance plans, workers’ compensation, etc.

· Maintain/Monitor the Phone Tree Program on a daily basis

· Handle all Changes in Physician Templating; Profiling; On Call Schedule

· Communicate with Paging Service 

· Back up for the operator as needed.

· Other Duties as assigned

Requirements

 Minimum of six months in a physician office setting performing check-in functions.
