- Answer phones, manage messages, and schedule new patient, consult, and surgery appointments.
- Coordinate referral intake, obtain records, and help keep surgical and consult schedules organized.
- Verify dental and medical insurance, collect co-pays and fees, and post payments accurately in the practice management software.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient information and documentation in the practice management system.
- Monitor patient flow, communicate wait times, and support a smooth handoff between front desk and clinical staff.
- Keep the front desk, waiting room, and patient restrooms neat, organized, and aligned with our modern, specialty look.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior dental or medical front desk experience is strongly preferred; oral surgery or specialty experience is a plus.
- Comfort with scheduling, insurance verification, and collecting payments in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Strong communication skills, professional phone etiquette, and a friendly, confident demeanor with patients and referring offices.
- High attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to learn new systems and workflows in a startup setting.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software (DSN) is preferred but not required.
We value someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a collaborative team, and cares deeply about creating an exceptional experience for every patient and family.
