Assistant Director of Social Services
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Social Services to support and enhance the social services department at our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will have an MSW and strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise social workers and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents. Licensure by the Office of Professions is a plus for increased compensation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director in managing and overseeing the social services department.
- Supervise and mentor social workers and support staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care to residents.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate social service programs and care plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications:
- Master’s in Social Work (MSW) required.
- Licensure (LMSW, LCSW) by the Office of Professions is a plus.
- 3-5 years of social services experience, including 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of social services regulations and skilled nursing facility requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Benefits:
