We are currently seeking a dynamic Commercial Insurance Producer to join our team and drive growth through new business development and relationship management.
Position Summary:
The Commercial Producer is responsible for identifying, soliciting, and securing new commercial lines clients, while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing accounts. This role requires a strong hunter mentality, the ability to understand complex business risks, and a consultative sales approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively generate leads and prospect for new commercial clients across target industries
- Conduct risk assessments, identify client exposures, and recommend appropriate insurance products
- Present proposals, negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers, and close new business
- Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients through regular check-ins and service coordination
- Partner with account managers to ensure smooth onboarding, renewals, and policy servicing
- Meet and exceed established sales targets and activity goals
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, markets, and carrier appetites
- Represent the agency at networking events, conferences, and community functions
