A highly successful multi-line Insurance Brokerage in Lee's Summit is looking for a full time Customer Service Sales Representative to join our awesome team! Do you have insurance experience? Our Agency Owner is looking for the right person to take under their wing. Would you like an opportunity to work and learn from some of the top agents in the industry? The person we are searching for will have the opportunity to work with our amazing and professional client base. We desire someone who is licensed in P&C and/or Life & Health so they can hit the ground running. The sales agent who will excel in this role will have the personality and confidence to work with referrals which come in daily from top Realtors and Loan Officers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of insurance experience
- Active Property Casualty License and Life & Health License
- Energetic and eager to help grow the business
- Outgoing - likes to meet and talk to new people
- Great communicator - phone, e-mail & face to face
- Professional Demeanor
- Organized
- Responsible - good attendance
- Self Improvement - wants to grow and be the best they can be
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, and outreach.
- Assess clients’ needs and recommend suitable insurance coverage options.
- Present and explain policy features, advantages, and benefits.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions and follow-ups.
- Provide ongoing customer service and policy support.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance goals.
- Stay up-to-date on insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in insurance sales or related sales field (preferred but not required).
- Active insurance license or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong communication, presentation, and customer-service skills.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency (CRM experience a plus).
