The award winning Residence Inn by Marriott Spartanburg Westgate is seeking an outgoing, friendly and energetic individual for a Breakfast Attendant.
The Residence Inn Spartanburg Westgate is an award-winning hotel, receiving multiple Marriott Select Brands awards, most recently the Platinum Circle award for 2024 and the Diamond Circle Award for 2023. The hotel consistently ranks in the top 30 Residence Inns in North America for Intent to Recommend, Staff Service, Cleanliness and Housekeeping scores.
To aid in maintaining our outstanding brand scores, this position will have the following duties and tasks:

- Interacting with guests during breakfast hours in the dining, buffet, and lobby areas.
- Preparing breakfast food items and maintaining a well stocked and displayed breakfast buffet.
- Following all health and food safety requirements and keeping accurate department of health food safety and cleaning logs during their shifts.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the buffet and dining areas by clearing dishes, wiping tables, and freshening up the buffet displays.
- Conversing with guests about their stay, the hotel and what brings them to the area, and offering assistance when requested by providing area information, suggestions on things to do and directions to local companies and attractions.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols, privacy guidelines, and brand standards.
- Must adhere to the company's grooming, uniform, and dress code policies.
- Assist with varied projects as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
