What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant , Women's Center, Crown Point office,$7,500 sign on bonus position at Pinnacle Hospital?
Provides administrative and clinical assistance to physician in the examination and treatment of patients in the office. Front desk reception assistance required based on scheduling needs. Must have phlebotomy experience
Performs tasks like: Politely and promptly greets and registers patients via manual or computer entry system; Escorting patients to room and takes brief history of illness and/or chief complaint; Phlebotomy, Taking vitals, which may include: temperature, pulse, respiration's, blood pressure, height and weight on all patients; Keeping patient flow to physicians or other attending s constant; Assisting (within the legal scope of practice) physician or other attending s when needed; Preparing room with equipment and supplies as required; Maintaining inventory of supplies; Assists with routine office duties, such as copying, filing, faxing, when needed or as directed.
Hours will be typically Monday-Friday

Requirements
- High School Diploma or general education degree
- Registered Medical Assistant
- 2 years experience
