Client:

Our client is a well-established single-family office headquartered in New York. They are looking to add an Associate to their close-knit investment team. The office manages a globally diversified portfolio across all major asset classes, with a primary focus on fund investments and co-investments.

Opportunity:

The Associate will play an integral role in supporting the team across portfolio construction, manager due diligence, and ongoing monitoring. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure across public markets and institutional-quality fund investments in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to asset allocation decisions and support the development of tailored investment plans for various entities within the family office
• Source and evaluate new fund investment opportunities
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including market research, financial modeling, benchmarking, and qualitative assessments
• Monitor portfolio performance and track exposures, liquidity, and risk metrics
• Assist in preparing investment materials and presentations for the Investment Advisory Committee and internal stakeholders
• Build and maintain relationships with fund managers, intermediaries, and other industry contacts
• Support ad hoc research and special projects as needed

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in wealth management, family office, endowment/foundation, fund of funds, or investment consulting
• Strong academic background
• Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to deepen knowledge of institutional investing
• Highly organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams
