Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of facility administrators and department heads, focusing on census, revenue enhancement, quality mix, and contract labor reduction
- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase operational efficiency and improve facility performance
- Build and maintain relationships with feeder hospitals, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders
- Recruit, hire, and terminate employees as necessary, with a focus on fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Oversee overall personnel management, including restructuring departments as needed
- Ensure compliance with MaineCare and PDPM regulations
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business administration)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing home management or a related field
- Proven track record of success in operations management, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and patient care
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of over 700 employees
- "Take charge" attitude and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with MaineCare and PDPM regulations a plus
- Competitive hourly rate of $47/hour
