Recreation Aide

Job Summary:

Swan Lake Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a motivated and experienced Recreation Aide to join our team in Patchogue, NY. As a Recreation Aide, you will assist our department staff in implementing activities and programs for our Residents, focusing on individual interests and providing exceptional care and support.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist department staff with the implementation of activities and programs for Residents, focusing on individual interests
• Work directly with Residents on units
• Set up, implement, and clean up programs as needed
• Organize and obtain supplies and equipment as requested
• Keep daily attendance and document resident's participation in activities
• Assist resident to program location and return residents to appropriate units
• Other duties as assigned
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Positive attitude and energy is a must
• Experience with activities in healthcare settings
• Previous experience with Geriatric population preferred
• Ability to work effectively as a team member

What We Offer:

• Competitive hourly rate: $17 - $18 HOURLY
• PART_TIME_AND_FULL_TIME opportunities available
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
