Occupational Therapist (OT)

Beautiful Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Port Washington is currently recruiting for a Full Time and Part Time Occupational Therapist for a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan and administer treatment to residents and patient s with temporary or long term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care
• Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven intervention to patients with a variety of personalities
• Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients’ motion and mobility
• Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers; consult with other health professionals
• Monitor patient response to treatment intervention
• Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
• Work collaboratively with a supportive team of therapists and nursing staff
