Construction Field Operations Supervisor

Pinnacle General Contractor is seeking a Construction Field Supervisor to oversee daily on-site operations for both commercial and residential projects throughout the DMV region. This role is responsible for coordinating subcontractors, directing crews, maintaining quality control, and ensuring projects remain on schedule.The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader experienced in commercial environments, while also being comfortable managing residential renovation or maintenance projects when needed. This position also offers opportunities to support landscaping and snow operations during seasonal periods.ResponsibilitiesCommercial Construction Supervision (Primary Focus)Lead and supervise field activities for commercial projects (office, retail, medical, mixed-use, etc.)Coordinate subcontractors, daily tasks, and project sequencingCommunicate professionally with property managers, tenants, and building engineersManage deliveries, inspections, site access, and building logisticsEnsure work adheres to commercial standards, specifications, and safety requirementsDocument progress using photos, notes, and daily logsResidential Project Oversight (As Needed)Oversee smaller-scale residential renovation or maintenance projectsCoordinate with homeowners or tenants as neededEnsure quality control and timely completion on all residential scopesManage materials, subs, and job site organizationLandscaping & Exterior Maintenance SupportVisit commercial and residential properties for quality checksProvide oversight to landscaping crews for maintenance and enhancement workEnsure properties meet contract expectations and company standardsSnow Removal Operations (Seasonal)Oversee snow removal crews and commercial routes during stormsCoordinate plow trucks, salting operations, and site monitoringCommunicate with commercial property managers during snow eventsEnsure timely and safe completion of all snow servicesClient, Vendor & Business Development Support(Optional but helpful for higher-level candidates)Attend site walk-throughs with property managers or clientsAssist with estimates, scopes, or project assessmentsIdentify opportunities for additional work and relay internallyMaintain strong, professional relationships with clients and vendorsGeneralSupport multiple job sites and divisions as neededHelp maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentParticipate in a 90-day introductory evaluation periodDemonstrate reliability, communication, and leadership dailyRequirements3 years of experience supervising commercial and/or residential construction projectsStrong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and job site coordinationAbility to manage multiple active job sites and subcontractorsStrong communication skills with property managers, homeowners, and crewsAbility to read plans, scopes, and work ordersReliable transportation and valid driver’s licenseExperience with landscaping or snow operations is a plusMust be eligible to work as a 1099 contractorAbility to solve problems quickly and work independentlyCompensationCompetitive weekly pay based on experience, with performance-based adjustments available after the introductory period.ScheduleFull-time workload (1099), Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends or evenings during peak workload or snow events.Company DescriptionPinnacle General Contractor specializes in commercial renovations, tenant improvements, and facilities projects across the DMV area. Salary : $55,000 - $70,000
