About the Role

The Circulating RN plays a critical role in supporting patients throughout their fertility journey by providing exceptional, compassionate care within the surgical suite. This position is well suited for detail-oriented professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. As a Circulating RN, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative care, while upholding the highest standards of patient safety, comfort, and clinical excellence. The role supports a diverse range of surgical specialties, including fertility, urology, gynecology, and plastic surgery, caring for both male and female patients across their treatment journey.

We are seeking a Surgery RN to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - Arizona in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is a full time on-site This is a full-time, onsite role working Monday-Friday with availability between 5:30 AM - 5:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures, perform preoperative assessment, give discharge instructions, and start IV.
• Recover patients after general anesthesia and monitored anesthesia care. Reinforce discharge instructions.
• Deliver direct patient care during pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases in the surgical suite.
• Accurately document patient care and procedures in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Clearly communicate post-operative instructions to patients and families.
• Oversee surgical suite operations, ensuring cleanliness, sterility, and equipment functionality.
• Adhere to and enforce aseptic techniques, quality control measures, and safety standards.
• Initiate emergency protocols as needed and coordinate equipment repairs.
• Mentor new staff and provide updates on any protocol changes.
• Support organizational policies and contribute to process improvements.
• Collaborate with the Surgery Manager to assess equipment and supply needs.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the surgical team.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Education & Licensure:
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
  • Active RN license issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR required.
  • Plastic surgery experience a plus.
• Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $40.00-$45.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
