OVERVIEW:
Our firm is searching for an experienced and self-directed individual to join our team as the leader/manager overseeing our general business functions and administrative team. This role would include leading all accounting, human resources, treasury, tax planning, capital expenditure, interaction with outsourced consultants (certified public accounting, information technology, human resources, payroll, benefits, legal, etc.). This position will be responsible for financial analysis, forecasting and budgets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, annual audit process, compliance and credit activities. This role also overlaps the core professional service offerings of the firm such that business fundamentals and process improvement initiatives touch all aspects of the firm.
This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to lead, ability to solve problems, be strategically focused, and results orientated.
PRIMARY ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a senior member of the administrative team to manage all administrative.
- Responsible for Strategic Planning and development of financial and accounting systems and contributing to overall organizational strategic objectives.
- Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
- Monitor the financial performance of the company. Provide accurate analysis of profitability across service lines and multiple offices.
- Compile and analyze monthly reporting packages for management and ownership group.
- Participate in the development of and support the company's strategic plans.
- Lead the creation of annual operating budgets and support presentation to ownership group.
- Identify areas of improvement within the business operations and participate in the execution of the action plans to drive the improvement.
- Provide leadership and support to drive process improvement within accounts receivable and accounts payable departments resulting in the reduction of manual work.
- Manage the development and execution of collection activities for the company.
- Assure accurate payment of multi-state sales & use tax and corporate filing/registration compliance.
- Establish a results-oriented management style that measures and evaluates individual performance against clearly defined accountable competencies, responsibilities, and objectives.
- Attract, develop, and retain talent within the business unit to ensure the competency level of all employees is sufficient to be fully effective in their roles.
- Foster a culture of acting with a high sense of integrity, inclusion, engagement, responsibility, transparency, and performance with a sense of urgency.
- Establish, implement, maintain new employee onboarding processes.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Accounting principles
